Thank you for visiting our website.
Our school was established in April 1987 on the plateau of Takeoka, overlooking Sakurajima and Kinko Bay, with a general education department and an information science department.  This year marks the 35th anniversary of our school's foundation.  More than 15,000 students have graduated from our school and have been active in the fields of art and culture as well as politics and business.
Currently, under the school motto "Strength, Creativity, Generosity", students are actively engaged in studies, club activities, volunteer activities, etc.  With the aim of achieving both acadmic excellence and developed skills in club activities, students are achieving great results.  While studying hard in extracurricular classes and after-school tutoring, the percentage of students participating in club activities is high, and together with lively school events, they lead a fulfilling school life.
In accordance with the educational guideline "Live and learn together," which has been another school motto since our establishment, I hope that each of our students will set high aspirations and work earnestly on their academic work every day, and that they will be able to create their own lives in spite of the Corona disaster.
All of us, the staff, will make a concentrated effort to create a new, more vibrant Takeokadai High School, while continuing the good traditions of the past, so that our students can lead a fulfilled high school life.
I would like to express my gratitude for the efforts and cooperation of our parents and the alumni association, and I would also like to ask for your continued warm support and cooperation, including those of you who read this website.
